The B List

4. Coltrane Cutout Boot
 5. AUBREY 2  6. Dr Martens 7. ASOS ACADEMY Ankle Boots  8. Sally Boots

The B is for Boots, if you have not guessed! It's Autumn, the season to get your favourite boots out, or to go shopping for some new ones. I do have a lovely lace up, leather pair that I bought in the Asos winter sale. However, I have my heart set on the Academy Ankle Boot (7), as seen on Lily Melrose. These are perfectly on trend and are such a great price, but they subsequently sold out! I keep checking online, because I really need want these. Another popular boot this season, is the Topshop Arabel Boot, and again, sold out! There are many versions of this cut out boot available, from New Look, Lavish Alice, and the ones above, from Nasty Gal (4).
I have been admiring the velvet block heels from Miss Guided. These would look lovely on an evening out, worn with a dress. I must admit, I am tempted to purchase a pair of navy heels, as I'm fond of the black and navy combination right now. There are so many outfits that a pair of chunky boots can look great with. I can't talk boots, without mentioning Dr Martens. A style that has come back in fashion a number of times (I'm quite the fan of the 90's trend).
A celeb that styles and wears boots in such a way, is Sienna Miller. I adore her outfits and effortless, boho inspired look. Sienna has quite the boot collection!
The Chelsea boot (8), is another classic style that can be worn again, and again. I would love to be able to afford an expensive leather pair, that will wear well, and no doubt last me  for years. When you think about how much you spend, and how much you would wear them, it can be argued they are worth the price.
I'm still hoping Asos will restock the boots I have my eyes on! If not, I have been spending some time on Asos Marketplace recently, and there are always great boots/shoes being sold.

UPDATE: Just checked the Asos site, and they had the boots (7) in my size! Can't wait for them to arrive!!

Thank you for reading, and hope you have enjoyed. What style/detail of boots do you prefer? Any suggestions on where to shop?

Autumn Beauty

The winter months can be very unkind to your skin and lips. The skin becomes vulnerable in the cold environment, often leading to dry skin and chapped lips. The products, below, are ideal for the care of your skin during the Autumn months.

Recently, my hair has become increasingly dry at the ends, the result of hair colouring. Goldwell Dualsense Rich Repair 6 Effect Serum, is a multi purpose hair treatment for dry, stressed and damaged hair. Will this be the answer to my hair dramas? After using this for a couple of weeks, I have noticed my hair has become softer, and looks healthier. It contains Pashmina Silk proteins that provides an improved shine and softness. This product is simple to use, it is a leave in serum that you distribute through towel-dried or dry hair.

Products c/o My Bag
The next product has been a welcome addition to my handbag. Laidbare, In Safe Hands, is a wonderful hand cream, that will not leave your 'mitts' greasy. The fresh aroma of this product, alone, makes it a pleasure to use. The skin on our hands is delicate, and exposure to the elements and everyday work can take it's toll (hands are the first to show signs of ageing, oh dear!). In Safe Hands, contains Sunflower Oil that is deeply moisturising, and organic Shea butter that melts into the skin. This natural beauty product truly nourishes and rejuvenates your hands. I will not, now, be worried about having dull, dry hands during this Autumn season.

Lastly, another product that has a place in my handbag is Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Intensive Repair Lip Balm. The colder weather can leave our lips prone to dryness also. I often suffer from unpleasant cracked lips during the Autumn. This balm, not only moisturises, but repairs dry, chapped lips. Here is a luxury product, that is renown for it's eight hour staying power and moisture boost. However, although it is a thicker balm than I am used to, it leaves my lips feeling hydrated and smooth.

It is very convenient to have the hand cream and lip balm in my handbag, so I can use when needed, without fuss! My Bag offer some great handbag essentials for beauty lovers
I hope you have enjoyed reading. Do your products change because of the colder weather?  What are your favourite Autumn beauty products?

Aida singlet / Sparkle & Fade Hobble Skirt in Animal Print / Moon Crescent Necklace

MINI SKIRT WITH ZIPS / Grey Sheer Strip Ruffle Bottom Tee / Knitted Lapin Snood

These two outfits were inspired by two very stylish bloggers.

OUTFIT ONE, inspired by Amy over at Salted Rose. When I saw Amy's outfit post of her wearing the Urban Outfitter's animal print midi skirtand simple black t-shirt, I knew I was going to love her blog and style. I have teamed this skirt, with a little black top from Monki. I do need to invest in some simple plain tops for every day wear. I would also like to purchase a black bodysuit, as it can be worn with so much. The crescent moon necklace is from the Free People. I have been loving stars and moon inspired jewellery recently, and mood stones. I could not resist adding a little tartan. It's a trend that is every where right now, the tartan bag above, is from Topshop. I chose a dark plum lipstick from Topshop, also. It's the perfect autumn colour, for a bold dramatic lip.

OUTFIT TWO, inspired by Kim at Love Cloth. This is another blog that I regularly read, I simple adore Kim's outfits and charm. I'm always finding new online stores through her blog, and I'm forever adding new bookmarks. This particular top is from Glassworks. I think the ruffle hem is very cute, and this jersey worn with the faux leather mini skirt contrasts so well. Glasswork has a superb collection. It offers contemporary pieces, along side fashion by cool indie brands. It's definitely worth a look! As it is getting colder, I have chosen a very expensive snood by Matthew Williamson. I will be looking for a cheaper and faux fur version of this, for the Winter season. The sleek rings are from Zara.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed. I admire the styles of so many bloggers. Which

fashion blogs are you currently loving?

    cats vs dogs

Are you a cat person or a dog person? People are usually one or the other. I would call myself a dog person, as I have two cute beagles. This post features all cat themed items for cat lovers.
    Recently, I discovered Leah Reena Goren's Etsy store through Pinterest. It's just purrrfect! Leah is an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Brooklyn;
'I try to make the world more beautiful with my work'.
Leah's work is indeed beautiful. The handmade silk Picasso sacrf, above, is so pretty and precious. It's a perfect example of how wonderful her work is. I have ordered myself, a handmade cat top, I'm so excited for it to arrive. It's hard not to fall in love with the cat dress that is on her site. It reminds me of the cat dress and skater skirt that has been a popular buy from H&M.

The cat sweatshirt is from The Little Dear, a site I adore. It offers unique, vintage pieces and accessories. I have been admiring the patchwork crop jumper, and illustrated tote bags (cat tote bag). I love how The Little Dear stock a number of independent designers. I think it is important to support independent smaller brands. As a customer, I enjoy purchasing something that has been created/reworked by someone who has a passion for what they do. It also makes an item all the more special.

Another online store and independent brand, is These Folks. It's a brand that shares a love for felines and florals. There are a number of quirky, fun t-shirt and sweatshirt designs to chose from. A white t shirt is always such a great item to style and wear.
I would love to own some Lazy Oaf goodies. The cat body and ring are ideal for fashion/cat lovers, and although I'm more a dog person, I really love these items.
I hope you like all the items I have picked. There are so many cat themed products available, from shoes, bags, homeware, you name it - you can probably buy it! I have previously shared products by Paul & Joe, the cat lipstick case and make up bag are currently on my wishlist.

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed. I will have part two up soon, sharing all things dog themed. It will be featuring my two beagles too...
PS All this cat talk has helped me decide on a Halloween costume! I'm excited to buy some ears and a tail, and dress up as a black cat! MEOW!

    happy feet

Say hello to my new shoes. These black cut out shoes are only £12 from Primark! I was very lucky to pick them up, as there was only the one pair left in my size (typically, hidden away at the back). I was in Office just before, and was quite taken by a similar pair (Tag Line, Taboo T Bar). The price difference was, as you can imagine, rather big.
I must admit, my shoe collection is rather modest. I usually buy a pair, and wear them constantly, until I need new ones. I'm even tempted to purchase another pair of these, because they will be permanently on my feet from now on. These shoes are comfy, cute and ideal for everyday wear. I love the little gold buckle and the simplicity of the design. They are just the perfect little black shoe! I also picked up some lace trim ankle socks to wear with them. I'm so pleased with this purchase. What was the last pair of shoes you bought? Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

    Hello September.

Autumn is fast approaching (it officially starts on September 22nd), and it seems a lot of us are excited about this. I have recently read some lovely posts about all the wonderful things that come with this month, and change in season (Chelsea's and Rosie's,to name two). So I thought I would share a few things I enjoy about it.

I am looking forward to the colder weather, it's the perfect excuse for me to wear a beanie. I do enjoy wearing a beanie, although I would not call myself a hat person and I probably look silly in one (Oh well). However, I feel so cosy when I pop on a knitted hat. I will be purchasing a new one this year, either from Primark or Topman. The neon coloured beanies, and those with 'swag' written on the front are not for me. I tend to buy fishermen style beanie hats, and bobble onesI may even buy a knitted beret this year, we will see.
Autumn is my favourite season by far. I love the change in colours, the orange and red leaves that begin to fall from the trees. The cooler weather allows us to throw on our warm knits, and wear pretty layers. I have already bought a fluffy black cardigan that I can't wait to wear

I'm looking forward, to capturing the change in season, on film. I have bought a colour film for my Diana camera to use when I'm out walking the two beagles down the woods and beach (I really would love to learn how to take a double exposure photograph).

Also, I want to learn to knit! I plan hope to knit my very own scarf. I have no idea how long it will take me, or how it will turn out, but it will be fun to learn something new. It does sound like a relaxing thing to do, don't you think? I will keep you updated with my progress (with pictures).

Thank you for reading. I hope you have enjoyed. Do you have any plans this month? What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

    Girls' Night In Giveaway.

I have recently reached 300 followers on bloglovin'. It never crossed my mind that I would reach such a number. So, as a BIG thank you, I am holding a giveaway! The theme being, a 'Girls' Night in'.
I have chosen two Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints, in Pomegranate and Mango. The colours are perfect for Autumn!
I'm a bit of a film geek, so wanted to include a dvd in the prize. I first thought of the film, Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. It's a great film, with an equally great soundtrack! However, when I saw Amelie in the shop, I thought 'yes that's the one'. It's a wonderful film, charming and funny. It's a must watch!
So, as part of the 'Girls' night in' theme, I thought a £10 Lush Voucher would be ideal. You can treat yourself to whatever Lush product you fancy! Lastly, I picked a cute pair of Dinosaurs socks, to keep your toes cosy, while watching the film! I will be adding some Nerds and sweets to complete this little package.
It's open to the UK and Ireland only (sorry), and you can enter below. Thank you again for supporting my blog, I'm so grateful. Good Luck!

The very kind people at AO.com have added a £40 Topshop voucher to the giveaway! I'm so pleased to share this with you. So, as part of the' Girl's Night In' prize, you can now treat yourself to some online shopping

    a Rafflecopter giveaway

PS. Since this giveaway is for those that read and follow my blog, those who enter using fake profiles, or twitter accounts only used to enter giveaways, will be disqualified. Thank you.

I'm really enjoying reading everyone's answers to the giveaway question. I would pick Uma Thurman, as she is one of my favourite actresses! (Kill Bill!!)

    One Fine Day

Even though summer has officially ended, the sun was out this weekend and it was simply lovely. I headed down to the beach, and went for a walk along the coast line. It's a twenty minute walk from the beach above, to the next beach along. It was so peaceful and scenic, walking along the cliff path and taking in the views. On the way back, we stopped and had an ice cream and just sat on a bench, watching the world go by. I only have these two pictures to share with you, unfortunately. The cheeky Beagle, Kimi, decided to chew my phone charger, so I have been without my phone all weekend. I hope we have more of the same weather next weekend!
Did you have a nice weekend?
