A new year, a new me?
Wait a second, where did 2015 go? The year came and went in such a hurry, I've not even had time to reflect on the past 12 months. Though, there isn't much to say, I survived the year! Apart from the odd bump in the road, it was rather ordinary.
I want this new year to be different.

There's a world out there and I want to see it!
Well, last year, I finally got my passport renewed! This would surely allow me to go on holiday and visit new places. The only thing stopping me, is myself. Oh, and that problematic hold that anxiety has on me. However, with passport at hand, I went to Paris with my mum and two sisters. Even though, it was only for the day, it was quite the achievement for me. I had the BEST day and like so many, I fell in love with the city. I need to do this again and so much more in 2016.

I would like to become body confident again.
I turned 30! I have no qualms with turning 30, it's just another birthday to me. One thing I have realised though, is that my metabolism has slowed the fuck down. I'm pretty sure age plays a big part in this. I can no longer eat what I like and still fit into my skinny jeans. This year, I will not shy away from exercise. I will not hide under my duvet and moan 'all my clothes look rubbish on me!'. It's time to get fit and eat healthier - this is not just a generic new year's resolution but a promise to myself.

Finally. this little blog of mine. I want to post more frequently and freely. Also, I would like to delve into the world of collage - an art form that I love! Images are the perfect substitute for words and so many times I struggle to find the right words to express myself. So, more images to come.

PS. Happy New Year! Hope this year brings you lots of JOY!

  1. Posting more frequently and freely is a great blog New Years resolution. So many bloggers set themselves targets for followers or page views but blogging is a creative pursuit, so I think how you feel about it is so much more important than numbers.

    Wishing you an amazing 2016 - I hope it's a great year!

  2. Good luck with your goals! I'm hoping to be more body confident this year, I'm determined to get fitter and healthier so fingers crossed haha! I'd love to travel more, there's so many places I want to see. Actually, there are places in the UK I still haven't seen yet so I should probably start here first haha!
